It has been decided by Pakistan Captain Babar Azam that he will lead Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings in the upcoming PSL season seven that is scheduled in January-February 2022.
Whereas it was reported before the T20 World Cup that Babar Azam may not lead the franchise ahead of season seven due to some financial and personal issues being reported by media. Previously, he didn’t attend the last session’s major promotional activity as well.
Now the issues seem to be resolved and Babar has decided to lead Karachi Kings as the franchise didn’t want him to leave as he is the most followed in Pakistan Cricket and recently he has also become the world’s top ODI and T2O batsman.
It is to be noted that Babar joined Karachi kings in 2017 and has been a constitutive part of the franchise since then.
