In the ongoing Malaysia T20 Internationals Quandragular Series, Bhutan registered their first-ever win in the T20 Internationals over the Maldives. Bhutan won the game by just 6 runs.
Batting first Bhutan set a target of 111 with the help of cameos of the Gakul Kumar, Namgay Thinley, and Thinley Jamtsho (17,17 & 16) respectively. Yoosuf Azyan Farhath picked up 3 wickets from the Maldives.
In reply, Maldives scored only 104 runs in their 20 overs. Mohamed Rishwan was their top scorer with 19 off 12 balls including four boundaries. Jigme Singye and Namgay Thinley picked up 3 wickets each and played an integral part in their historic win.
This Malasiya Quandragular T20I Series is happening in Malaysia, other participating teams are the hosts Malasiya (who won their all 3 games) and Thailand (who lost both games).
