Zimbabwe have announced their 15-man squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia next month. Their skipper Craig Ervine returning from a hamstring niggle to lead the side. After injury comebacks their pace attack is going to be strong as Tendai Chatara, Wellington Masakadza, Milton Shumba and Blessing Muzarabani added to the squad.
Zimbabwe are part of Group B in the 1st round and begins the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 campaign with a match against Ireland on 17 October at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Tasmania. Other teams in the group are West Indies and Scotland.
They are also scheduled to face Sri Lanka and Namibia in warm-up games on 10 and 13 October ahead of the main event.
