
The Nepal T20 League which was first been scheduled to start on 24 September 2022 has got its third-revised and fourth schedule according to which the inaugural league will start on 24 December 2022.
The Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN), which is also the organizer of the league, has made a press release today stating that the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League has been postponed from 23 December 2022 to 24 December 2022. The cricket governing body of Nepal has stated in the press release that the league has been postponed by a day because of technical problems.
The press release also states that Brittanta Khanal has been selected as the Tournament Director of the Nepal T20 League.
The first schedule of the inaugural Nepal T20 League was announced on 18 May 2022. According to the schedule, It was to start on 24 September and run till 9 October of the year 2022. Then, on 15 September 2022, the league was postponed until December 2022. The league was then rescheduled to happen from 12 December 2022 to 31 December 2022. The league’s schedule was revised again to start from 23 December 2022 to 10 January 2022. And, this condition didn’t stop there. The league has been postponed for a day again and it has been officially announced today via a Press Release made by the Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN).
Some of the overseas players including Kesrick Willams, Trevon Griffith and Chadwick Walton are already in Nepal for the league while some other overseas players, based upon the contracts, are yet to arrive in Nepal.
