Mahendra Singh Dhoni, also known as MS Dhoni, was born on July 7th, 1981, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He was raised in a Rajput family with a background of powerful rulers. Dhoni attended DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Shyamali, Ranchi for his schooling. He later went to St. Xavier’s College in Ranchi, but he dropped out to focus on his cricket career.

Dhoni made his international debut in 2004 and quickly became famous for his excellent wicket-keeping and aggressive batting style.
