Netherlands A whitewash Italy in the Netherlands Men’s A International Series

The third and last match of Italy’s visit to the Netherlands for a 3-match series as a part of the Netherlands Men’s A International Series was completed today with a win for Netherlands A which was the third win for the team in the series to whitewash Italy in the series.

Netherlands A had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

Batting first, Netherlands A made a total of 201 runs for the loss of four wickets. S Zulfiqar made the most 66 runs in 31 deliveries for the team in the match followed by M Levitt with 51 runs in  31 deliveries.

S Di Bartolomeo took two wickets for Italy in the match with Cjpf Kalumage taking a wicket. Italy conceded fourteen extras to Netherlands A in the match while bowling.

Italy made 144 runs for the loss of ten wickets. RP Farina made the most 36 runs from 29 deliveries in the match for the team followed by SZ Naqvi with 31 runs in 17 deliveries.

S Zulfiqar took four wickets for Netherlands A in the match with O Elenbaas taking three wickets. S Braat took a wicket in the match to join the wicket-taking party. Netherlands A conceded four extras to Netherlands A in the match while bowling.

Netherlands A won the match by 57 runs.

Netherlands A won the first and second matches with Italy in the series by 42 runs (Match Report) and 62 runs (Match Report) respectively.
