In a significant development for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans, Andy Flower, the renowned cricket coach, has decided to step down from his position as the head coach. This announcement came via an official press release by the team on Wednesday, marking a transition in the team’s coaching leadership.
Flower, who had taken up the role of head coach in 2020, made an indelible mark during his tenure. His partnership with assistant coach Abdul Rehman was instrumental in Multan Sultans’ success journey. Notably, they secured the franchise’s first-ever Pakistan Super League trophy in 2021 and consistently propelled the team into consecutive finals.
