PSL 2019 Teams Analysis: Peshawar Zalmi

The team from the the northern side of the country and last years runners up are back in season 4 under the leadership of Darren Sammy. If we look back to their history the franchise had very successful last three seasons with winning percentage of (57.57%), champions in season 2, finalist last year. Now at the PSL T20 Draft 2018 they have taken most experienced and the star of every T20 leagues the Caribean Kieron Pollard in their only platinum pick and last year champion captain Misbah UL Haq in Diamond category. with comming of these stars Zalmi look stronger this season.
Let’s take a look at strengths and weaknesses of Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2019.

Strengths:

The main strength of Zalmi is their bowling department especially their pace attack with the likes of Wahab Riaz who is the leading wicket-taker of PSL and the national team star bowler Hassan Ali, with Umaid Asif and Sameen Gul as good pacers from domestic cricket.
Comming of star hard hitting allrounder Kieron Pollard in their squad will make Peshawar Zalmi lower order strong, and can take wickets in crucial overs.
Return of Dawid Malan in the side with Kamran Akmal will make their opening order strong.

Weaknesses :

Not much quality or experienced spinners. except Liam Dawson.
