Mumbai Indians today announced the addition of a women’s cricket team to its expanding set of sporting franchises. Mumbai Indians made the announcement after they won the auction to own a franchise in the Women’s Premier League.
Mumbai Indians have tweeted a tweet that includes the welcome messages from the Ambani family. As per the tweet, Mrs Nita Ambani and Mr Akash Ambani are happy to have a women’s cricket team in the MI Universe and both the members of the Ambani family are confident about the positive impact the WPL team will create in future.
