The Australians will do a month-long tour to play an all-format series in June and July. Announced by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SCL) on Friday, “We are in for some exciting cricket, especially considering that an Australian tour to Sri Lanka is taking place after five years.”
“The T20 Series will help our preparations for the T20 World Cup, whilst the Test and ODI segments are also competitions of immense value for us, as we aim to move through the ICC World Test Championship rankings and also gearing up for the ICC Men’s World Cup in 2023,’’ De Silva added.
Australia will play three T20Is from June 7 with five ODIs from June 14 to June 24. Two World Test Championship matches starting from June 29 and July 8 will end the tour.

T20Is:
- June 7th: First T20, Colombo
- June 8th: Second T20, Colombo
- June 11th: Third T20, Kandy
ODIs:
- June 14th: First ODI, Kandy
- June 16th: Second ODI, Kandy
- June 19th: Third ODI, Colombo
- June 21st: Fourth ODI, Colombo
- June 24th: Fifth ODI, Colombo
Tests:
- June 29th – July 3rd: First Test, Galle
- July 8th-12th: Second Test, Galle
