Till the end of the 2016 T20 world cup, the world was unfamiliar with the guy who is now the King of T20 cricket or if I say the King of all the three formats. Yes, you guessed it right I am talking about the King of cricket, the backbone of the Pakistan cricket team batting line up and the captain of all the three formats of the Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam.
In the 18th match of the National T20 cup while playing against the Southern Punjab Babar Azam became the fastest person on the planet to score 7000 T20 runs. He has done this in 187 innings breaking the record of the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle who has scored 7000 runs in 192 innings.
He also became the third Pakistani after Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Hafeez to go pass 7000 runs landmark in T20 cricket. He also has six T20 centuries to his name with the last one he scored two innings before.
As Pakistani we want Babar to score runs where ever he goes and made Pakistan proud.
