Bangladesh Premier League 2022 schedule is out. The ninth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) was scheduled to start from January 6 to February 16, 2023. It is played in a double round-robin format, with the top four qualifying for the playoffs. Two matches are to be played per day in the group stage playing double round-robin league system, with reserve days for all of the knockout matches.
From this season the total number of teams will increase from 6 to 7. It is the top-level professional Twenty20 league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. In last year’s BPL, 2022 BPL season Comilla Victorians clinched the title for the record-breaking third time by defeating Fortune Barisal in an action-packed final match. In this season, there will be a total of 7 teams playing a total of 46 games against each other in the BPL 2023.
Rangpur Warriors’ team come back after 2 seasons. Some of the star players also play in this season’s BPL with Shahin Afridi, Mohammed Rizwan, Sohaib Malik, Mohammad Amir, and other star players playing BPL.

Like the last season, this season will also be held in three stadiums. All of the league matches will be played in 3 cities – Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet. Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka will host the All of the knockout matches.
The first match of the tournament was played between Chattogram Challengers vs Sylhet Strikers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka. The final match was played on February 16 in the same stadium.
