Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on fire as Dhaka Dominators and Comilla Victorians seal their big victory today

The 31st and 32nd matches of the BPL featured today conclude between Dhaka Dominators vs. Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers vs. Comilla Victorians. The Dhaka Dominators and Comilla Victorians won their respective matches in the 31st and 32nd matches of the BPL.

The first match of the day was played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet and featured the Dhaka Dominators against the Fortune Barishal. The Fortune Barishal won the toss and elected to bat first.

In the first match of the day, the Fortune Barishal managed to score 156 runs in their 20 overs while batting first. Anamul Haque 42(35) was the top run contributor for the team.

In an important encounter, the Dhaka Dominators ultimately came out on top, securing a victory.Amir Hamza took 2 wickets while Shoriful Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Salman Irshad, Nasir Hossain and Muktar Ali took 1 wicket for the Dhaka Dominators.

Mohammad Mithun made 54 runs off 436balls. The Dominators scored 157/5 in 18.5 overs and won the game by 5 wickets.

Sunzamul Islam and Shakib Al Hasan took 2 wickets each while Karim Janat took one wicket for the Fortune Barishal. Mohammad Mithun was named Player of the Match for his 54 of 36 contribution for his team.

In the second match, Khulna Tigers vs. Comilla Victorians faced off at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium Sylhet , with Comilla Victorians winning the toss and electing to bowl first.

Khulna Tigers managed to post a good total of 210/2 at the end of their 20 overs, with Tamim Iqbal and Shai Hope scoring 95 (61), and 91 (55), respectively. Mosaddek Hossain and Naseem Shah took 1 wicket each for the Comilla Victorians.

In reply, the Comilla Victorians chase a target. Tigers able to scored 213/3 in 18.2 overs and won the game by 7 wickets. Johnson Charles  made 107 runs off 56 balls for the Comilla Victorians.
