The 11th and 12th matches of the BPL featured today conclude between Fortune Barishal vs. Comilla Victorians and Chattogram Challengers vs. Dhaka Dominators.
The Fortune Barishal and Chattogram Challengers won their respective matches in the 11th and 12th match of the BPL.
The first match of the day was played at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) Chattogram and featured the Fortune Barishal against the Comilla Victorians. The Comilla Victorians won the toss and elected to bowl first.In the first match of the day, the Fortune Barishal managed to score 177 runs in their 20 overs while batting first.
Shakib Al Hasan 81(45) was the top run contributor for the team. In an closing encounter, the Fortune Barishal ultimately came out on top, securing a victory. Tanvir Islam took four wickets for the Comilla Victorians, while Khushdil Shah took one wicket. Khushdil Shah made 43 runs off 27 balls. This is the debut BPL match for Mohammad Rizwan.
Comilla Victorians Couldn’t able to chased the target, only able to score 165-run in the 20 over. Fortune Barishal win the match by 12 runs.Chaturanga de Silva, Shakib Al Hasan, Kamrul Islam, Iftikhar Ahmed and Karim Janat took one wicket each for Fortune Barishal. Shakib Al Hasan was named Player of the Match for his 82 of 45 and 1/11 contribution for his team.
In the second match, Chattogram Challengers vs. Dhaka Dominators faced off at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) Chattogram, with Dhaka Dominators winning the toss and electing to bat first.
Dhaka Dominators managed to post a total of 158/6 at the end of their 20 overs, with Usman Ghani and Mohammad Mithun scoring 47 (33), and 30(22), respectively.
Nihaduzzaman and Mehedi Hasan Rana took 2 wickets each, While Malinda Pushpakumara and Shuvagata Hom each took one wicket for the Chattogram Challengers.
In reply, the Chattogram Challengers chase a target in the 17 over. Challengers scored 159/2 in 17.4 overs and won the game by 8 wickets. Afif Hossain made 69 runs off 52 balls for the Rangpur Riders.
