Big final day happening in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Division 2 Qualifier 2023

France Cricket to host 4-nation Women’s T20I tournament

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Division 2 Qualifier 2023 which began on 29 May 2023 is going to have its final day today on 2 June 2023 where the last three matches of the tournament will be played between the six participants of the tournament that will confirm the remaining two spots for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Division 1 Qualifier 2023 to be held in September 2023 in Spain.

The tournament with six participants is having its final day today with the current standings being at the interesting stage where the top three teams, France Women, Germany Women and Italy Women, have equal six points each from the four matches each team have played.

France Women is standing at the first position of the Points Table with 6 points and 2.011NRR, Germany Women is standing at the second position with 6 points and 1.445NRR, Italy Women is standing at the third position with 6 points and -0.164NRR. Jersey Women have 4 points and 1.950NRR, Sweden Women have 2 points and -0.230NRR, and Turkey Women are still to find a point in the tournament and have -5.813NRR. Jersey Women, Sweden Women and Turkey Women are in the 4th, 5th and 6th position respectively in the Points Table of the tournament.

Italy Women and Turkey Women will play today against each other in a match with Jersey Women and Sweden Women playing in one another match and France Women and Germany Women will play in the last match of the tournament.

The matches to be played today will finalize the two teams from the tournament to progress to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Division 2 Qualifiers 2023. The top four teams have chances to progress to the Division 1 Qualifiers with the bottom two teams without a way for the progress to the Qualifiers to be held in Spain.

Scotland Women and Netherlands Women are already in the Division One Qualifiers and will be joined by the two teams that progress today from the Division Two Qualifiers.
