The second day of the Bulgaria Quadrangular T20I Series concluded today with Turkey, Serbia and Bulgaria finding a win each.
The first match of the day was between Croatia and Turkey where Croatia batting first made 83/8 in the first inning of the match in Sohail Ahmad’s 20 runs in 16 deliveries. Mecit Ozturk and Muhammed Turkmen took three wickets each for Turkey in the match with Ali Turkmen and Ishak Elec taking a wicket each.
Turkey made 88 runs for the loss of two wickets in 6 overs to win the match by eight wickets. Ali Turkmen made the most 40* runs in 18 deliveries for Turkey in the winning-match. Vedran Zanko took two wickets for Croatia in the match.
The second match of the day was between Croatia and Serbia where Croatia were all out at 76 runs in 19.4 overs in the first inning of the match. Wasal Bitis made the most 32* runs in 27 deliveries for Croatia in the match. Mark Pavlovic took three wickets for Serbia in the match with Matija Sarenac, Rahman Ademi, Nicholas Johns-Wickberg, Alister Gajic and Vukasin Zimonjic taking 2, 1, 1, 1 and 1 wickets respectively.
Serbia made 77 runs for the loss of one wicket in 8.3 overs in the second inning of the match to win the match by nine wickets. Wintley Burton made the most 45* runs in 33 deliveries for the team in the match. Wasal Bitis took a wicket for Croatia in the match.
The third match of the day was between Turkey and Bulgaria where Turkey made 147 runs for the loss of every wickets in 19.4 overs of the first inning. Ishak Elec made the most 52 runs in 57 deliveries for Turkey in the match. Danyal Raja and Prakash Mishra took two wickets each for Bulgaria in the match with Isa Zaroo, Delrick Vinu and Huzaif Yousuf taking a wicket each.
Bulgaria in response to the target of 148 runs made 149 runs for the loss of two wickets in 15.5 overs of the second inning of the match to win the match by eight wickets. Saim Hussain made the most 46 runs in 43 deliveries for Bulgaria in the match. Mecit Ozturk took a wicket for Turkey in the match.
