About Caribbean Premier League
Launched in 2013, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament that merges two quintessential elements of Caribbean culture – thrilling cricket and a lively Carnival atmosphere.
The 2024 edition is scheduled from August 29 to October 6. In 2023, the tournament attracted a broadcast and digital audience of 853.5 million, making it one of the most viewed leagues in global cricket. The current champions are the Guyana Amazon Warriors, with the other franchise teams being Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders.
