Castle Lite Series: Namibia find a win today

Namibia have found a win in the match of the Castle Lite Series played today. With the win, Namibia lead the series 2-0 against the Ugandan Team.

Namibia were set to bat first in the match after winning the toss and Namibia made a solid target of 196 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the first inning of the match where Nikolaas Davin found his half-century and made 57 runs in 43 deliveries. JJ Smith played a stunning knock in the match and was able to make 49 not out runs in 22 deliveries. Gerhard Erasmus, the captain from the team, made 34 runs in 20 deliveries. Michael van Lingen made 29 runs in 20 deliveries with Zane Green making 18 runs in 13 deliveries.

Alpesh Ramjani and Brian Masaba took two wickets each in the match for Uganda. Uganda conceded eight runs to Namibia as extras.

Uganda were bowled out for 123 runs in 19.1 overs of the next inning of the match while chasing the target of 197 runs. Kenneth Waiswa made the most 26 runs in 21 deliveries for the team in the match with Robinson Obuya and Dinesh Nakrani making 22 runs each from 27 and 20 deliveries respectively. Gerhard Erasmus took four wickets as the most wickets for Namibia in the match with Gerhard Jansen van Rensburg taking three wickets being supported by Pikky Ya France with a wicket in a match where they bowled Uganda for 123 runs in 19.1 overs.

Namibia won the match and lead the series 2-0.
