The eleventh and the twelfth matches of the Continental Cup T20 – Africa concluded today with Uganda and Botswana finding a win each from their respective matches.
The eleventh match was between Rwanda and Uganda where Rwanda batting first got all out at 85 runs with Eric Dusingizimana making the most 27 runs in 20 deliveries after Henry Ssenyondo claimed four wickets in his name for Uganda with Alpesh Ramjani, Riazat Ali Shah and Siraje Nsubunga claiming 2, 1 and 1 wickets respectively.
Uganda made 87 runs for the loss of three wickets in 9.3 overs to win the match by seven wickets. Riazat Ali Shah played a not-out 30 runs in 21 deliveries to book the highest knock for the team in the match. Martin Akayezu took two wickets for Rwanda in the match with Eric Kubwimana taking a wicket.
The twelfth match was between Botswana and Kenya where Botswana made 145 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the first inning of the match with Vinoo Balakrishnan making the most 55 runs in 38 deliveries for the team in the match. Vishil Patel took four wickets for Kenya in the match with Emmanuel Bundi, Shem Ngoche, Lucas Oluoch and Rakep Patel taking a wicket each.
Kenya was all out at 115 runs in 18.5 overs. Rakep Patel made the most 41 runs in 26 deliveries for the team in the match. Katlo Piet took three wickets for Botswana in the match with Dhruvkumar Maisuria, Mmoloki Mooketsi, Boemo Khumalo and Ameer Saiyed taking 2, 1, 1 and 1 wickets respectively.
