Cricket Association of Nepal replaces President Chatur Bahadur Chand from Nepal’s Official World Cup team after ICC intervention

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has replaced President Chatur Bahadur Chand from Nepal’s Official World Cup team after ICC intervention.

Cricket Association of Nepal has replaced the president with Dr. Hom Nath Pant who is a doctor based in Maryland.

Cricket Association of Nepal had not taken any doctor earlier in the team.

Nepal is playing its first match in the World Cup with Netherlands on 4 June 2024.

While there were two working committee members in the role of manager and team leader in the team, the chairman was also included in the team without a role. But after receiving the list, the ICC instructed to change the officials, showing that there are no officials in other essential roles in the team and that the team doctor must be kept on the day of the match.

Fowllowing the instruction from ICC, Cricket Association of Nepal had replaced the president Chatur Bahadur with Dr. Hom Nath Pant.
