Dambulla Aura is one of the teams participating in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023, a Twenty20 cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. The team is based in Dambulla, a city in the Central Province of Sri Lanka.
The team has not won any LPL titles so far, and finished last in the 2022 season. The team is led by Avishka Fernando, a Sri Lankan batsman who has scored 544 runs in 24 matches for the team.
The team also features Matthew Wade, an Australian wicket-keeper batsman, as its overseas icon player, and Lungi Ngidi, a South African fast bowler, as its overseas platinum player. The team was formerly known as Dambulla Viking and Dambulla Giants but changed its name to Dambulla Aura in 2022 after being bought by Aura Lanka Sports.
