England international Danni Wyatt has withdrawn from the Perth Scorchers’ Weber WBBL|09 squad, citing fatigue. Wyatt had been selected with Pick 11 (Gold) in the inaugural WBBL Draft.
The Perth Scorchers have said that they will look for a replacement for Wyatt and will announce it in due time.
WBBL|09 is set to kick off from 19 October.
It is a shame that Wyatt has had to withdraw from the Scorchers’ squad, but it is understandable that she is feeling fatigued after a busy international summer. we wish her all the best for her recovery.
We are interested to see who the Scorchers will choose as Wyatt’s replacement. There are a number of talented players available, both domestically and internationally. We are sure that they will be able to find someone who can make a significant contribution to the team.
