Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, Imad expressed his full support for Babar’s captaincy, emphasizing unity within the team.
“We have no issues with Babar. He is the captain of the team and we are all supporting him,” Imad stated, dispelling rumors of internal strife. He further voiced his confidence in Babar’s leadership, suggesting that Babar’s reinstatement as captain could lead Pakistan to World Cup glory.

The Pakistan cricket team is gearing up for their upcoming tour of Ireland, with preparations underway in Lahore. The squad will depart for Dublin on May 7 after a three-day training camp. Notably, Shaheen Afridi and Azam Khan are set to join the camp today, while Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan will link up with the squad in Ireland.
During the tour, Pakistan will compete in three T20Is in Ireland and four in England before heading to the United States for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup.
