England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the squads for the Pakistan tour, and T20 World Cup 2022 on 31st August (Fri). Pakistan and England will play seven T20Is from September 20th in Karachi and ending on October 2nd in Lahore. The England team was supposed to tour Pakistan last year but pulled the tour out due to security reasons.

Key Points:

  • Ben Stokes is out of the seven-match tour of Pakistan but he has been recalled to England’s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup in Australia.
  • Chris Woakes and Mark Wood are amongst the notable returnees for T20 World Cup 2022.
  • Moen Ali will lead the side in the opening contests in Pakistan later Jos Butter will lead.
