England Women clean swept West Indies Women in the 5-match T20I Series

England Women have cleanly swept West Indies Women in the 5-match T20I Series that just concluded today at Bridgetown.

In the fifth and last match of the series, West Indies Women won the toss and elected to bat first in the game.

In front of England Women’s bowling, West Indies could add only 43 runs in total before they lost all of their wickets. Djenaba Joseph was the only batter to score in double-digits for West Indies Women in today’s game. She made 11 runs off 22 balls. West Indies Women were all out in 16.2 overs against England Women.

Freya Davies and Alice Davidson-Richards took three wickets each for England Women in the game while Charlie Dean, Issy Wong and Nat Sciver joined the party with 2, 1 and 1 wickets respectively. England Women conceded 7 extras to West Indies Women in the game.

England Women batting second in the game made a total of 44 runs in 5.3 overs at the loss of 2 wickets to win the game and also clean sweep the West Indies Women in the T20I series. Nat Sciver scored 20(12) for the team while Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley made 11(11) and 7(7). Heather Knight faced 3 balls in the game but couldn’t add any runs in the game.

Hayley Matthews and Karishma Ramharack took a wicket each in the game for West Indies Women.
