England Women showed powerful domination to win over Pakistan Women

The 19th match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 concluded with England Women taking a huge win of 114 runs over Pakistan Women. 

In the England Women vs Pakistan Women match played today, England Women won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batting first, England Women made a solid 213 runs in 20 overs losing 5 of their wickets. Nat Sciver-Brunt played a strong 40-ball 81 innings to help the team achieve the total. Danni Wyatt and Amy Jones contributed 59(33) and 47(31) respectively to the team in achieving the total.

Fatima Sana took two wickets for Pakistan Women in the match with Sadia Iqbal, Nida Dar and Tuba Hassan taking a wicket each. Pakistan Women conceded 14 extras to England Women while bowling.

Pakistan Women who lost the opener Sadaf Shamas for a duck in 2 balls, lost another opener Muneeba Ali for 3 off 10. The team struggled to chase the target and reached 99/9 at the end of the second inning of the match and lost the match by 114 runs. Tuba Hassan was the top run contributor for the team with 28 runs off 20 balls.

Katherine Sciver-Brunt and Charlie Dean took two wickets each for England Women in the match with Nat Sciver-Brunt, Sarah Glenn and Sophie Ecclestone taking a wicket each. England Women conceded 11 extras to Pakistan Women while bowling.

Nat Sciver-Brunt was the Player of the Match for her 81*(40) in batting with 1/4 in bowling.

England Women are already through the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.
