
As the T20 World Cup 2024 approaches, the Indian cricket team has commenced its journey with high hopes and intense preparation. The first batch of players will depart on Saturday, flying from Mumbai to Dubai at 10 PM before heading to New York. The second batch, which includes Adesh Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Sanju Samson, will leave soon after. These players have recently concluded their IPL 2024 campaigns, with the Rajasthan Royals being knocked out by Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2 on May 24 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Vice-captain Hardik Pandya, whose Mumbai Indians were eliminated from the playoffs, traveled to London for a brief training stint. He may join the national squad directly from London.
