The Galle Titans are a professional cricket team that competes in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), the premier Twenty20 cricket league in Sri Lanka. The team was founded in 2020 and is based in the city of Galle, which is known for its historic fort and scenic beaches. The team’s home ground is the Galle International Stadium, which has a capacity of 35,000 spectators.
The team has won two LPL titles, in 2020 and 2023, under the captaincy of Kusal Perera and the coaching of Mahela Jayawardene. The team’s motto is “Roar like a Titan”.
They have picked up a very balanced side in the LPL 2023 Auction and are ready to roar in the upcoming edition.
