Gibraltar Women marked a milestone in their cricket journey with a remarkable 2–1 T20I series victory over Estonia Women in Tiskre. Despite losing the opener, the visitors bounced back strongly to win back-to-back games and secure their WT20I series triumph.

Estonia Women kicked off the series with a gritty 26-run win, defending a modest 94/6 on a sluggish pitch. The innings was carried more by Gibraltar’s extras (39) than Estonia’s batters, with skipper Annemari Vessik (12 & 2/7) shining with both bat and ball.
Gibraltar’s chase never got going, collapsing to 68 all out. Despite Nikki Caruana’s fighting 22 off 41*, Estonia’s bowling discipline—highlighted by three run-outs and tight spells from Vessik and Chamali Lokuge—proved too much.
2nd T20I: Amy Benatar Inspires Gibraltar Comeback

Just hours later, Gibraltar turned the tables. Amy Benatar starred with 3/20 to restrict Estonia to another sub-par total of 94/8, despite 51 more extras being conceded.
Estonia’s batting lacked urgency again, with a slow 63-run stand between Lokuge and Shifa. In response, Gibraltar built a calm chase as Nikki Caruana (21) and Rosaleen Reilly (20) put together a steady partnership. The win came with 20 balls to spare, leveling the series at 1–1.
3rd T20I: Helen Mumford’s 4-for Seals Series Glory
Gibraltar Women won by 34 runs
In the decider, Helen Mumford delivered a game-changing 4/18 to bowl out Estonia for just 82 in pursuit of 117. Gibraltar’s innings was led by Nikki Caruana (35) and *Noelle Laguea (32)**, with Estonia gifting 34 extras once again.
Estonia collapsed from 38/1 to 82 all out, with three run-outs and strong support from Sheppard and Gianani. Gibraltar’s fielding and composure were on full display, completing their first-ever international series win.
