The most awaited league of Pakistan, HBL Pakistan Super League season 8’s players’ draft will be held on December 15 in Karachi. The venue of the draft will be announced later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared on Wednesday.

The announcement has been made after consulting with all franchises, said PCB. The tournament’s director Usman Wahla said PSL 8 will be bigger with the induction of some prominent names. “Some big cricketers’ availability ensures a bigger and better PSL season this time around,” he said.

South Africa’s David Miller, England’s Jason Roy and Dawid Malan, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, and Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga are some of the players who have signed up for the draft for PSL 8 so far.

In the last week of November, England is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan for the Test series. The English squad will play three Tests in Rawalpindi, Multan, and Karachi.
