The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket prices for the eighth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League. The tournament is set to take place in Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, and tickets for the matches in these cities will be available online and at the box offices during the tournament.
The prices for the opener between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in Multan on February 13th range from PKR1,000 for General Enclosure to PKR6,000 for VIP Enclosure. For the February 15th match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, the prices range from PKR650 for General to PKR2,900 for VIP. The remaining three matches featuring the home side have been priced at PKR1,000 for General to PKR4,000 for VIP.
For the non-Sunday matches in Karachi, the prices range from PKR650 for General to PKR2,900 for VIP. The Sunday, February 19th match between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars has been priced at PKR1,000 for General to PKR5,000 for VIP, and the final match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on February 26th is priced at PKR1,000 for General to PKR4,000 for VIP.
The PCB is offering discounted season passes for the first time, covering weekday matches. The season pass for the four Multan matches is priced at PKR3,555 for General to PKR16,830 for VIP, and the pass for the five Karachi matches is priced at PKR2,925 for General to PKR13,050 for VIP.
In order to purchase tickets, one must bring a government-issued ID, either a CNIC or passport. Minors under 18 years of age will need a B-Form. Only one ticket is allowed per CNIC.
It is worth noting that despite the excitement for the tournament, fans are unhappy with the high prices and many are predicting a smaller turnout at the stadiums due to the cost of tickets.
