Hong Kong, China to tour the Netherlands for a maiden WT20I series led by new captain Natasha Miles

Hong Kong, China is all set to tour the Netherlands for their maiden WT20I series with the Netherlands. Cricket Hong Kong have announced the squad for the series today with Natasha Miles being the new captain of the team.

The series will take place from 17 June 2024 and will run till 19 June 2024. The series will consist of four WT20I matches happening one match each on 17 and 18 June and two matches on 19 June.

Cricket Hong Kong, China have announced the squad for the series today which includes Natasha Miles (Captain), Chan Ka Man, Chan Ka Ying, Cheung Hiu Ying, Georgina Bradley, Iqra Sahar, Joyleen Kaur, Maira Saleem, Marina Lamplough, Maryam Bibi, Mariko Hill, Siu Mei Wai, Shanzeen Shahzad and Yasmin Daswani

Cricket Hong Kong, China thanked Kary Chan for her years of dedication as the captain of the Cricket Hong Kong, China Women’s Team. Under the leadership of newly appointed captain Natasha Miles, the Hong Kong, China Women’s Team is eager to showcase their skills and make a mark in international cricket. Natasha Miles, a seasoned cricketer has been a vital asset to the team for a number of years and a role model for aspiring cricketers in Hong Kong.

Coach Andy Cottam expressed his excitement about the upcoming series, stating,

“This is a significant milestone for the Hong Kong, China Women’s Team as we step into the world of international T20 cricket. The players have been training hard and are ready to take on the challenge. We are confident that they will give their best and make the home fans proud.”

Natasha Miles, the newly appointed captain shared her enthusiasm saying,
