'I won't forgive MS Dhoni' - Yuvraj Singh's father issues a big statement

The ongoing conflict between former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh and MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team captain, has flared up once again. Yograj, known for his public criticism of Dhoni, has again taken a strong stance against the cricketing legend. In a recent statement on the Zee Switch YouTube channel, Yograj declared that he will “never forgive” Dhoni, accusing him of playing a role in undermining Yuvraj’s cricket career.

Yograj’s latest remarks emphasize a long-standing grudge, with the former cricketer asserting that Dhoni’s actions against his son were unforgivable.

“I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life,” Yograj said while talking to the Zee Switch YouTube channel.

“I have never done two things in life – first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids,” he added.

Yuvraj Singh’s father exposes Dhoni’s ‘bad deeds’

This isn’t the first time Yograj has expressed such sentiments; earlier this year, he blamed CSK’s loss in the IPL 2024 on Dhoni’s “bad deeds,” even accusing Dhoni of being “jealous” of Yuvraj and refusing to shake hands with him. He had said,

“CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It’s whatever you sow, so shall you reap. Yuvraj Singh is the ICC Ambassador, hats off to him! And this jealous Dhoni, where is he? He didn’t even shake hands with Yuvraj, and that is the reason why CSK failed this year,”

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in August 2020 but continues to lead the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, has remained a revered figure in Indian cricket. In contrast, Yuvraj Singh, who retired in 2019, is also celebrated for his contributions to Indian cricket, including being named an ICC Ambassador.

Despite the continued public attacks from Yograj Singh, Dhoni’s legacy remains largely untarnished, with fans and cricketing experts alike continuing to support him. However, Yograj’s persistent criticism keeps this feud in the spotlight, fueling ongoing debate and controversy in the cricketing community.
