India is hosting Australia Women for five T20 Internationals in the coming December. All five games of the series starting December 9 are scheduled to be played in Mumbai.
The series will run till December 20, 2022, starting from December 9, 2022. The series will start its first game from DY Patil Stadium. The second game is also scheduled to be played on the same ground while the next three will be played in the Brabourne Stadium.

The Australian team will come to India after the running Women’s Big Bash League concludes on 26 November 2022.
As the regular captain of Australia Women, Meg Lanning, had opted to take an indefinite mental-health break, the team may tour India without her presence for the series. If that happens, Alyssa Healy who was named vice-captain of the team may be leading the team in the series in India.
The series will be the return of India Women in international cricket after their win over Sri Lanka Women in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 which was held in Bangladesh from 1 to 15 October 2022. India Women are also scheduled to tour South Africa in upcoming January for a tri-series including West Indies which will be a build-up to the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.
