India will win Champions Trophy 2025 with unique brand of cricket, assures Hardik Pandya

With the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy set to make its highly anticipated return, India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has declared his team’s intent to reclaim the coveted trophy. As the cricketing world turns its attention to the marquee tournament, set to begin on February 19, the event is already steeped in off-field drama.

Pakistan is officially hosting the Champions Trophy, but citing security concerns, India have opted to play its matches in Dubai rather than traveling to the neighboring nation. Despite this logistical shuffle, India’s squad remains focused on one goal—bringing the title back home, just as they did in 2013 and as joint winners in 2002.

“The return of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is a major boost for cricket, rekindling excitement for the One-Day format. Every match carries immense significance, and India is fully prepared to showcase its unique brand of cricket,” Pandya remarked in an ICC statement.

As part of the ICC’s ‘All On The Line’ campaign, a high-energy promotional film has been released, capturing the relentless intensity of the tournament. Featuring cricketing heavyweights like Pandya, Mohammad Nabi, Phil Salt, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, the video underscores the sacrifices and stakes involved in pursuing the ultimate prize—the Champions Trophy and the prestigious White Jackets.

While the tournament opener between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand will take place in Karachi on February 19, India will launch their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. Players from multiple teams have voiced their enthusiasm and determination to seize the title.

“Playing for England in the Champions Trophy is an incredible honor. It will be a fiercely competitive tournament, but we are ready to give it our all,” said England’s Phil Salt. Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi expressed excitement over his nation’s debut in the event, stating,

“This is a huge moment for Afghanistan cricket. We are eager to challenge the best and make our country proud.”

Pakistan’s pace spearhead, Shaheen Shah Afridi, reinforced the significance of the competition for his country.

“For Pakistan, cricket is more than a game—it’s a passion, a source of pride, and our national identity. As defending champions and hosts, we have everything to play for, and I know the entire country is waiting for February 19. It’s going to be an electrifying tournament.”
