India women’s cricket team is gearing up for an exciting five-match T20I series against Bangladesh, scheduled to commence on April 28. The series will unfold in Sylhet, Bangladesh, with all matches set to take place in the city. While three games will be hosted at the main stadium, the remaining two will be played at an outer venue. Match timings are slated for 2:00 PM local time for day matches and 6:30 PM local time for night encounters.

The series holds significant importance for both teams as they look to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, slated to be held in Bangladesh in September-October. For India, this marks their third overall tour to Bangladesh and the second in just two years. In 2023, India locked horns with Bangladesh in a series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is. While India clinched the T20I series, the ODI encounters ended in a tie with both teams winning one match each.

With an eye on the upcoming T20 World Cup, both India and Bangladesh will aim to utilize this series as a crucial opportunity to assess their strengths and weaknesses and refine their strategies accordingly. The Indian team is set to embark on their journey to Bangladesh on April 23 in preparation for the series.

Mark your calendars as the action-packed series kicks off on April 28 with the first T20I under the floodlights, followed by subsequent clashes on April 30, May 2, May 6, and May 9. Cricket enthusiasts can expect thrilling contests as these two formidable teams lock horns in a battle of skill and strategy on the cricket field.
