The second T20I of the India Women Tour of Bangladesh have concluded with India Women making a master comeback to win the match by eight runs as they packed Bangladesh Women at 87 runs while defending the low total of 95 runs and India Women were successful to take five wickets of Bangladesh Women in the last seven deliveries of the match and secure the 3-match T20I series with 2 wins from two.
India Women had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.
Batting first, India Women were able to make 95 runs for the loss of eight wickets where Shafali Verma made 19 runs from 14 deliveries as the top run making batsman for the team in the today’s match which was played at Mirpur.
Sultana Khatun took three wickets for Bangladesh Women in the match with Fahima Khatun taking two wickets. Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter with Rabeya Khan took a wicket each in the match for the team. Bangladesh Women conceded two runs while bowling against India Women.
Bangladesh Women made 87 runs in 20 overs in the second inning of the match where Nigar Sultana made the most 38 runs in 55 balls for the team with Shorna Akter making 7 runs in 17 deliveries to follow Shorna Akter.
Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma were able to take three wickets for India Women in the match with Minnu Mani taking a wicket and Bareddy Anusha picking a wicket in her name. India Women conceded eighteen runs to Bangladesh Women while bowling in the match.
India Women won the match by eight runs and secured the three-match T20I series 2-0 with the last match of the series to be played at Mirpur on the thirteenth of this July.
