IPL 2023: RCB wins over LSG by 18 runs

The 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded today with RCB  finding an 18-run victory over LSG after restricting LSG to 108 runs while defending the 127 runs target.

RCB had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

Batting first, RCB made 126 runs in total in the first innings of the match losing nine wickets. Faf du Plessis was the top run-scoring batter for the team with 44 runs in 40 deliveries followed by Virat Kohli with 31 runs in 30 deliveries.

Naveen-ul-Haq took three wickets for Lucknow Super Giants in the match with Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra taking two wickets each. Krishnappa Gowtham took a wicket to join the party. LSG conceded two extras to Royal Challengers Bangalore while bowling.

Lucknow Super Giants made 108 runs in the second innings before they got all out in 19.5 overs against RCB. Krishnappa Gowtham was the top run-scoring batter for the team with 23 runs in 13 deliveries followed by Amit Mishra with 19 runs in 30 deliveries.

Josh Hazlewood and Karn Sharma took two wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the match with Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva and Harshal Patel taking a wicket each. RCB conceded seven extras to LSG while bowling.

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by 18 runs.
