The 19th and 20th matches of the BPL featured today conclude between Chattogram Challengers vs. Khulna Tigers and Fortune Barishal vs. Dhaka Dominators. The Khulna Tigers and Fortune Barishal won their respective matches in the 19th and 20th match of the BPL.
The first match of the day was played at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) Chattogram and featured the Chattogram Challengers against the Khulna Tigers. The Khulna Tigers won the toss and elected to field first.
In the first match of the day, the Chattogram Challengers managed to score 157 runs in their 20 overs while batting first. Usman Khan 45(31) was the top run contributor for the team. In an one entertaining encounter, the Khulna Tigers ultimately came out on top, securing a victory.
Wahab Riaz took four wickets. Mohammad Saifuddin took two wickets While Amad Butt took one wicket for the Khulna Tigers. Mahmudul Hasan Joy made 59 runs off 44 balls for Tigers.
Tigers managed to scored 159/3 in 20 overs and won the game by 7 wickets.
Nihaduzzaman took two wickets While Shuvagata Hom took one wicket for the Chattogram Challengers. Mahmudul Hasan Joy was named Player of the Match for his 59 (44) contribution for his team.
In the second match, Dhaka Dominators vs. Fortune Barishal faced off at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) Chattogram, with Dhaka Dominators winning the toss and electing to field first.
Fortune Barishal managed to total of 173/5 at the end of their 20 overs, with Iftikhar Ahmed and Mahmudullah scoring 56 (34), and 35 (31), respectively. Nasir Hossain took two wickets while Muktar Ali, Arafat Sunny and Salman Irshad took one wicket each for the Dhaka Dominators.
In reply, Riders only managed to scored 160/4 in 20 overs and lose the game by 13 runs.Nasir Hossain made 54 runs off 36 balls for the Dhaka Dominators.
