In truth, this game never really got off the ground and the writing was on the wall for the Kings at the end of the opening Power-play when they registered their worst ever first 6 over performance, finding themselves 32/5. All of the Supergiant bowlers came away with commendable figures, with Shardul Thakur leading the charge with 3/19 from his maximum quota of 4 overs.
