Mohammed Aslam was the standout performer, earning the Player of the Match award for his all-around contribution of 28 runs and 3/16 with the ball.

Kuwait, after being put in to bat by Malaysia, posted a competitive total of 163/7 in their 20 overs. Meet Bhavsar anchored the innings with a well-constructed 59 off 47 balls, while Mohammed Aslam provided the finishing touches with a quickfire 28 off 17 deliveries.
