Lanka Premier League 2020 Players’ draft will be held on 1st of the October in Hambantota. As per the Sri Lanka Cricket statement, there will be a limit to pick 6 overseas players per franchise, which makes 30 International players in the 5 franchises.
Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, Darren Bravo, Shahid Afridi, Shakib-Al-Hasan, Ravi Bopara, Colin Munro, Munaf Patel, and Vernon Philander are including in the player draft.
Along with 30 International Stars, the league will feature 65 Sri Lanka national players.
The first edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) is scheduled to kick off from November 14th and will host the final of the event on December 6th. All matches will be played in Dambulla, Pallekele, and Hambantota international stadiums.
