Mohammad Rizwan Early Life
Mohammad Rizwan was born on June 1, 1992, in Peshawar, Pakistan. He developed an interest in cricket at a young age and started playing the sport in his local community. Rizwan worked hard to hone his skills and eventually caught the attention of local coaches who recognized his talent.
Rizwan went on to play for the Peshawar region in domestic cricket and impressed with his performance. He made his first-class debut for Peshawar in 2009 and went on to represent the team in several matches. His consistent performances caught the eye of selectors, and he was soon picked to play for the Pakistan A team. Rizwan is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who has represented Pakistan in all three formats of cricket since 2015. He played for Lahore Qalandars from 2016 to 2017 in Pakistan Super League, joined Karachi Kings from 2018 to 2020, and currently plays for Multan Sultans as captain. He is also the captain of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domestic cricket team.
Mohammad Rizwan International Career
In April 2015, Rizwan made his ODI debut against Bangladesh, where he scored 67 runs off 58 balls. In November 2016, he made his Test debut against New Zealand. In August 2018, Rizwan was awarded a central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board. He was named as Pakistan’s player in the Test series against England in July 2020, where he impressed as a batsman and wicket-keeper.
