"My life is in danger" says Ramiz Raja

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja shared that his life is under threat, therefore he uses the car accordingly.

Ramiz, alongside Pakistan Cricket Board’s high officials, appeared in front of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Sports. During the discussion, the PCB chief was asked about his salary and expenses since he took charge in 2021.

“My salary as PCB chairman is zero,” Ramiz told committee members. “I Haven’t taken any unnecessary perks so far as chairman. I haven’t taken an entertainment allowance and spent just 2.5 lac rupees on my official tours as of yet,”

“I am here to work for cricket’s promotion. Neither I took my wife on any official tour nor benefited any of my relatives,” Ramiz answered a member’s question.

The former cricketer also told committee members that his family was against his decision to take PCB chairmanship. “My family didn’t want me to accept PCB chairmanship. They knew, the PCB chairman gets nothing except being called out every time,”
