The 25th and the 26th matches of the Nepal T20 League 2022 concluded today with Janakpur Royals and Far West United winning their match.
The first game of the day was between Pokhara Avengers and Janakpur Royals where Janakpur Royals won the toss and elected to field first.
Pokhara Avengers were all out at 68 runs in 12 overs batting first in the game. Siddhant Lohani was the top-run contributor for the team in the game.
Sompal Kami, Lalit Rajbanshi and Sharafuddin Ashraf took 3, 2 and 2 wickets respectively for Janakpur Royals while Jitendra Mukhiya, Trevon Griffith and Pawan Sarraf took a wicket each.
With the help of Sharafuddin Ashraf making 37 runs off 27 balls, Janakpur Royals made 70 runs losing 4 wickets in 9 overs to win the match by 6 wickets.
Kushal Malla and Asitha Fernando took 3 and 1 wickets respectively for Pokhara Avengers.
Sompal Kami was the Player of the Match for his 3/8 in bowling.
The second match of the day was between Far West United and Kathmandu Knights where Far West United won the toss and elected to bat first.
With Hashmatullah Shahidi and Binod Bhandari making 76(57) and 73(44) respectively, Far West United made 197/4 in 20 overs.
Basir Ahamad and Abinash Bohara took 3 and 1 wickets respectively for Kathmandu Knights.
Kathmandu Knights made 114/9 in 20 overs and lost the game by 83 runs. Kamal Airee made 20 runs off 21 balls for the team to be the most run contributor in the game for the team.
Karan KC, Durgesh Gupta and Hashmatullah Shahidi took two wickets each for Far West United while Sher Malla, Prakash Jaishi and Milinda Siriwardana took a wicket each.
Hashmatullah Shahidi was the Player of the Match for his 76(57) in batting and 2/22 in bowling.
