The ICC has unveiled the official anthem, ‘Out of this World’, for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024, setting the stage for a carnival of cricketing excellence. Produced by Michael “Tano” Montano, the anthem features a dynamic collaboration between Grammy award-winning artist Sean Paul and Soca superstar Kes, infusing the tournament with pulsating rhythms and vibrant melodies.

Expressing his excitement, Sean Paul emphasized the unifying power of music, stating, “I have always believed that music, like cricket, has the power to bring people together in unity and celebration. This song is all about positive energy and Caribbean pride…bringing the party to stadiums across the West Indies and USA.”

Echoing Sean Paul’s sentiments, Kes conveyed his honor in crafting an anthem that embodies the essence of Caribbean culture and the spirited energy of cricket. He remarked, “Cricket has always been a major part of Caribbean culture, so I’m honored to write and record the official anthem…The track embodies the vibrant culture and energy of cricket and is a real anthem for people to sing out and feel the spirit of unity.”

The T20 World Cup, scheduled from June 1 to 29, will showcase 20 teams across 55 matches of exhilarating T20I cricket, spread across three venues in the USA and six in the West Indies. The tournament’s opening clash will witness the USA locking horns with Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, marking the commencement of an enthralling journey.

With the participating teams divided into four groups of five for the group stage, the competition promises intense battles right from the outset. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 8 round, where they will be divided into two groups of four. From there, the top two teams from each Super 8 group will advance to the semi-finals, vying for a coveted spot in the grand finale on June 29.

As anticipation mounts for the cricketing extravaganza, fans eagerly await the culmination of this high-octane tournament, where the defending champions England will look to defend their title against a formidable array of challengers, setting the stage for a riveting spectacle of athleticism and sportsmanship.
