The first Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is currently underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium which is one of the important fixtures in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. The PCB has introduced a variety of initiatives designed to increase attendance and improve the fan experience for the remainder of the days.

In a bid to jam-pack the stadium, particularly over the weekend, the PCB has announced free-of-cost entry to the stadium for Day 4 and Day 5 of the ongoing Rawalpindi Test, slated for August 24 and 25. This will galvanize families and students to come out and cheer their team during this time when more people can turn out in large numbers.

The PCB has announced that, for a better view of the match to the people, Imran Khan and Javed Miandad VIP enclosures along with the Premium enclosure would be open to all. The only prerequisite is a CNIC or child registration certificate in B-form for easy identification at the entrance for a safer and more managed environment.

The PCB has also developed a ticket refund policy for fans who have already bought tickets for the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box. The refund mechanism will include credit/debit card reversals or returning the original tickets to Express Centres.

The PCB has also arranged a free shuttle bus service on match days, facilitating the fans at every step whereby they can easily access the stadium from various points in the city. This holistic approach is adopted toward making live cricket accessible and enjoyable to all, thus vindicating the commitment of the PCB toward the promotion of cricket in Pakistan.
