Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed the details of three Tests at home against England in December. England will be playing a seven-match T20I series in September-October against Pakistan. England will then revisit Pakistan in December for the three Tests.

This will be the first time England men’s cricket Test team will be touring Pakistan since 2005. The last time, Michael Vaughan’s team had lost the three-match series 2-0.

“We are pleased that Pakistan and England Test rivalry, which has historically produced close and tight matches, will return to our backyards in December. “Both the sides have evolved since they last played in Pakistan in 2005 and have recently been playing entertaining and exciting cricket. I remain confident this series will live up to the expectations of global cricket fans who want to watch and enjoy competitive and thrilling matches,” said PCB Director Zakir Khan.

The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi (starting 1 December), then in Multan (starting 9 December), and Karachi (starting 17 December) afterward. These Tests will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship.
