Article 2.4.7 – Obstruction of Investigation:
- Jayawickrama is charged with obstructing the ICC’s investigation by deleting messages that contained details of the approaches and offers to engage in corrupt activities.
Joint Action by Sri Lanka Cricket and ICC
In line with Articles 1.7.4.1 and 1.8.1 of the ICC Code, it has been agreed between Sri Lanka Cricket and the ICC that the ICC will take action on the charges related to the Lanka Premier League in conjunction with those related to international matches.
