Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament: Teams, Fixtures, Cash Prizes and more

The Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament is going to be held at Itahari, Sunsari with a total of eight teams participating in the tournament that will run from 13 January 2023 to 21 January 2023.

The league cup knockout competition is organised by the Nepal Cricket Association and co-organized by Sunsari Cricket Association.

Teams Participating in the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament (2023):

  1. Nepal APF Club
  2. Province Number 1
  3. SudurPaschim Province
  4. Karnali Province
  5. Bagmati Province
  6. Lumbini Province
  7. Gandaki Province
  8. Madesh Province

The teams participating in the league consist of seven provincial teams and a departmental team, Nepal APF Club.

Groups in the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament (2023):

The league consists of two groups, named “Group A” and “Group B”, each of them consisting of four teams.

Group A:

  1. Nepal APF Club
  2. Sudurpaschim Province
  3. Bagmati Province
  4. Gandaki Province

Group B:

  1. Province Number 1
  2. Karnali Province
  3. Lumbini Province
  4. Madesh Province

Fixtures of Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament (2023):

The fixtures of the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament have been unveiled by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on 7 January 2023. The complete fixture of the tournament is as follows:

Starting the tournament on 13 January 2023, the tournament will have the final on 21 January 2023.

Venue of the Tournament:

The tournament is going to be conducted at Janata Cricket Park, Itahari-9, with the support of the National Sports Council.

Cash Prizes in the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament (2023):

Cash Prize for Winning Team: Rs. 5 Lakhs (5 Lakhs Nepali Rupees)

Cash Prize for Runner-up: Rs. 3 Lakhs

Cash Prize for Best Player of the Tournament: Rs. 30,000

Cash Prize for Best Batsman of the Tournament: Rs. 20,000

Cash Prize for Best Bowler of the Tournament: Rs. 20,000

Cash Prize for Best Player of a game: Rs. 3,000

Budget of the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 National Cricket Tournament (2023):

The total budget estimated for the tournament is 1 Crore and 13 Lakhs Nepali Rupees with National Sports Council managing 40 Lakhs and the rest by the Nepal Cricket Association.

The tournament is going to be conducted with the slogan “Sports Tourism is the basis of development and prosperity.
